T. Beavers Passed Away at Social Circle Mr. Henry T. Beavers passed away at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. Clark Hester, near Social Circle on Friday, October 10th, his 97th birthday. Mr. Beavers suffered a stroke about a week ago, and everything possible was done for his comfort. Funeral services were held last Sunday afternoon from the Chapel of The E. L. Almand Company, Social Circle, and the Rev. Auston Turner, pastor of the Social Circle First Baptist Church, officiated. Burial followed in the Studdard cemetery. Pallbearers were Messrs. Seab Hester, Foster Hester, Grady Hester, Roy Hester, Lamar Hester and Quinton Chandler. Mr. Beavers was a devout member of the Social Circle First Baptist Church and was a regular attendant as long as health permitted. Being 97 years of age, Mr. Beavers was one of the oldest residents of Walton County and was highly esteemed by everyone who knew him. Survivors include five grandchildren, Mrs. Clark Hester, Social Circle; Mrs. George Bridges, Jacksonville, Fla.; Mr. H. B. Chandler, Atlanta; Mr. L. B. Chandler, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Mr. R. V. Chandler, of Batesville, Miss. Several nieces, nephews, sixteen great-grandchildren and five great-great- grandchildren also survive. To these, the Tribune extends sincere sympathy.
