Funeral services were held Sunday at Hebron Christian Church in Oconee County. Rev. Bryan Waters and Rev. B. I. Cox officiated and burial was in the DeLay Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were A. I. Thompson, Jerry Doggett, Emmett G. Gaylor, Rogal Doggett, Joe D. Conner and Barry Doggett. Mrs. Doggett was born Sept. 3, 1884, in Gwinnett County having moved to Walton County approximately 40 years ago. She was the daughter of Asbury and Fannie Hester DeLay and was a member of Hebron Christian Church. Surviving are her husband, F. A. Doggett, daughters, Mrs. A. H. Conner of Winder and Mrs. Jeff Thompson of Monroe, sons, Roy Doggett of Oxford, Burchael Doggett of Riverdale and Gerald Doggett of Decatur; daughter-in-law, Mrs. A. D. Doggett of Decatur, and sister, Mrs. S. T. Taylor of Moultrie; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Williams-Smith Funeral Directors.
