Ivey, a well-known young farmer residing in the Good Hope district near Monroe, is dead of hydrophobia after an illness of just a few hours. Ivey was bitten by a small dog four weeks ago and not until a few days ago, when it was decided that the dog was affected with rabies died the Pasteur treatment begin.
