DIED
     Sept. 14, at the residence of her husband in Social Circle, MRS. MARY A.
FLORENCE, wife of A. S. FLORENCE, Esq., aged about 24 years. She leaves two
little children and many relatives and friends to mourn her loss. Mrs. Florence
was esteemed and loved by all who knew her, and the memory of her pure life will
live forever in the minds of her surviving loved ones. Her good and noble deeds,
like the moon on the stormy sea will light up the darkened hearts thus made sad,
and contentment will sweetly smile upon their pathway even in the dark and 
lonely hours of their misfortune, for she has gone from the pain and struggles
of this life to reap her reward and wear her golden crown in that world above
where there is no pain, no death.

Friend of my earlier days;
None knew thee but to love thee
None named thee but to praise."
