Southern Banner-August 7, 1840
DIED - In Walton County on June 24, the Rev. MARK RAGAN, in the 78th year of 
his age.  He had been an orderly member of the Baptist Church 52 years, and a 
preacher of the Gospel 47 years.  He has left a large number of relatives and 
friends to mourn his loss.
