   Jeff Sargent, 54 of Rex, died on October 12, 2006. He was born in Walton 
County on April 30, 1952 to Hubert "Buddy" Sargent and the late Jeanette 
Dalton Sargent.
   Surviving are: wife: Linda Sargent of Rex, daughters: Christy Yancy, 
Monroe, Laura Hamby,  Monroe, Marcie Sargent, Monroe and Jennifer Sargent, 
Monroe; step-daughters: Gail Brown, Milner and Michelle Calderon, San 
Francisco, CA; sisters Cindy Norwood, Covington, Kathy Parham, Bogart, 
brother: Kenny Sargent, Social Circle; father Hubert "Buddy" Sargent, Monroe; 
and five grandchildren.
   Funeral Services were held on Monday Oct. 16, 2006 at the Chapel of Meadows 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Conner officiating. Interment followed at the 
Hill Haven Cementery.
   Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge fo the arrangements.
