From: The Walton Tribune, Monroe, Georgia April 14, 1944 Albert Sorrells died at home in Social Circle Funeral services for Albert B. Sorrells were held Saturday afternoon, from Pleasant Valley Methodist Church, Elder R.L. Cook officiated and interment followed in Circle View Cemetery, Social Circle with the E.L. Almand Co. in charge. Mr. Sorrells died at his home in Social Circle early Friday morning, after an illness of several weeks. He was 41 years, 7 months, and 10 days old. A native of Walton County, he was the son of Jimmie Sorrells and Della Westmoreland Sorrells. Mr. Sorrells was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church, and was highly regarded by a host of friends, who mourn his passing. Besides his wife, he is survived by five children, Annie Edmondson, Robert Lee, Prince Albert, Bonnie, John W, and Bobby Jean; two brothers, Jim Early Sorrells, Walnut Grove, and Willie Sorrells, of Porterdale. The Tribune extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.
