The funeral was Dec. 17, 1986 at Faith Baptist Church. Dr. Charles Forester and the Rev. W.C. Tribble officiated. Interment was in Westlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers were Emerson Parham, Ronnie Harrison, Tommy Hudgins, Billy Burt, Steve Sargent & Mickey Harrison. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Buddy Sargent, daughters Mrs. Cindy Elder of Social Circle and Mrs. Kathy Parham of Monroe; sons: Jeff Sargent of Monroe and Kenny Sargent of Social Circle; sisters: Mrs. Eloise Hood of Monroe, Mrs. Christine Garmon of Eatington, Mrs. Lois Hudgins and Mrs. Sarah Handley of Monroe; and several grandchildren. Meadows Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Additional Comments: My mother's place of death was a mis-print in the Walton Tribune.
