Item 1. It is my will that all my just debts be paid as soon as possible after my death by my executor hereinafter named. Item 2. I desire that I be buried in a decent and Christianlike manner and a modest tombstone placed at my grave. Item 3. I will and bequeath to my niece, Annie Lucy Broach, Forty two acres of land, known as a part of the Carlton Place where I now reside at Good Hope, Ga. Together with all improvements thereon, all my personal property of every kind and character, money and automobile, absolutely, except as hereinafter provided. Item 4. I give bequeath and devise to Robert Roy Edmondson, Annie May Sorrells, and William Edmondson the sum of Ten Dollars, Each, which is to be paid in full of their share in my estate. Item 5. I hereby nominate and appoint Thomas L. Broach as executor of this my Will and I hereby specially exempt him from making any bond to any court and after my Will is probated in the Court of Ordinary he is hereby authorized to deliver my estate in kind to Annie Lucy Broach, after payment of my debts and above legacies mentioned in Item 4 of my Will and he shall not be required to make any returns to the Court of Ordinary or any other Court.
