Specificially and first of all, I recommend my soul to all might God who gave it in hopes of this gracious acceptance of him and my body I resign to the earth to be buried in a decent manner _________ place of intermant to be _______________. Secordly, my will and desire in that out of my estate all debts be paid. Thirdly, that all monies or notes I have held with my negroes, John, whos age is now 20 years, Green, about 10 years, Taylor about 8 and Lucy about 3 years old with 120 acrees, and place whereon I formerly live and adjoining chiles ___________, Mrs Turley, and children that is, Half to go to the heir of my beloved son Marvel Milsaps and the heirs of my beloved daughter Parthina Jackson wife of A.W. Jackson. The other half to John L. Millsaps, Parthina I. Millsapd, William W. Millsaps, and Merod? Mary? Millsaps. There are the children of my son Marvel Milsaps to whom half is to be given and to Marvel M. Jackson, Elizabeth R. Shepherd, wife of Simon Shepherd, Mary, Ann J. Jackson, and Perthina Jackson the other half of all procedes that may arise; and if any of my nigroes shoulddie previous to the sale the residue is to go to sale as if no such death might have accoured, and if any of my grandchildren of either side over these of Marvel Milsaps or Parthina Jackson shoudl die or more than one each family half shall revert to the surving may have half of my estate and children of Parthina Jackson thn other half. fourthly, I will add my beds and furniture and all the household that may be to my daughter Parthina Jackson to be at her disposal in any mannor that she may think proper except my trunnel bed and steed I give to my old faithful servant Sucky, and may stay with any family she chosan and is not to be sold but is to stay with her children.
