Benjamin Evans, son of Stephen Evans and Sarah Nowell Evans, was born in old Durham, New Hampshire, April the 17th, 1764, and married Elizabeth Place, November 9th, 1794 in Rochester, N.H.
Elizabeth Place, daughter of David Place and Susanna Gray Place, wife of Benjamin Evans, was born in Rochester, New Hampshire, October 24th, 1774.
BIRTHS of Benjamin and Elizabeth Place Evans Children:
Sally N. Evans, born June 28th, 1795.
Nancy Evans, born December 8th, 1796.
Rufus King Evans, born Sept. 16th, 1798.
John P. Evans, born May 25th, 1800.
Martha Evans, born July 7th, 1802.

MARRIAGES:
Rufus King Evans, son of Benjamin and Elizabeth Place Evans, was married to Lucy C. A. Russell, daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth Curry Russell, on the 5th day of May in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty-five.
Elizabeth Ann Evans and John Lyon were married April 21st, 1847.
John W. Evans and Lucy A. Beck were married May 24th, 1849.
Susan C. Evans and Robert J. Smallwood were married on the 4th of Sept. 1853.
Oliver F. Evans and Amanda Wilder were married January 1855.
Mary Adaline Evans and Marcus A. Whorter were married August 17th, 1856.
John W. Evans and Ann Olivia Lenoir, (daughter of Hon. B. H. Overby)were married June 1864.
Robert Fort Evans and Anna Hudson were married December 7th, 1865.

Benjamin Evans, father of Rufus K. Evans, died in Rochester, New Hampshire, December 19th, 1813, aged 49 years, 8 months and 2 days.
Elizabeth Place Evans, mother of Rufus K. Evans, died in Macon, Georgia,September 2nd, 1832, aged 57 years and 5 days.
Elizabeth Ann Evans Lyon died July 1st, 1877.
Benjamin Franklin Evans, son of Rufus K. and Lucy C. A. Evans, died June 19th, 1827.
George Augustus Evans, son of Rufus K. and Lucy C. A. Evans, died August the 20th, 1834.
Lucy C. A. Evans, wife of Rufus K. Evans, departed this life the 18th day of June, at 3:30 o'clock, A.M. 1844.
Benjamin Rufus Evans, son of Rufus K. and Lucy C. A. Evans, died May 6th 1852.
Flora Evans, daughter of Rufus K. and Lucy C. A. Evans, died June 24th 1852.
