Chase, of Duluth, a recent visitor to Waycross, represents capitalists of St. Paul, Minnesota, who are negotiating for the purchase of 50,000 acres of land in Ware County, near Waycross, which will be cut up into small tracts and sold to thrifty farmers of the northern states, who will bring their families here for climatic and other reasons, and execute diversified farming, grow truck and raise poultry for the local and northerwestern markets.
