B. & A., in Ware County, August 17, 1876. His parents were John M. and Julia A. She was a daughter of Randall and Susan Jordan. His grandparents were named James and Lee Annie (nee Taylor). County Commissioner Taylor received his education in Ware County, is a Kof P., and Secretary of Hickley Lodge of Masons. He is a member of the Methodist Church, Stewart of Elizabeth Chapel. Subject of this sketch lost both of his parents when seventeen years of age and they left nine children and by dirt of perseverance and energy he raised the whole family and provided for them handsomely. He now owns extensive turpentine and farm land and a mercantile store at Beach. He married Miss Mary, daughter of Henry C. and Mary Jane Howard, of Blackshear. The children are Maud and Mozelle.
