It is nearest possible land to the Great Shops. The principal residence street, Gilmore, runs through it. Nine houses are now built there; one hundred and five more have been contracted to be built there. This includes a hotel of at least twenty rooms. Twenty years ago the industrial and business center of Waycross was near the Court House. Since that time, this center has been steadily moving southward. With the completion of these Mammoth Shops of the twentieth century, the industrial center of Waycross will lie a few hundred yards North of Gilchrist Park. The lots there being most convenient to the shops, the center of residence section of Waycross is destine to be in the vicinity of Gilchrist Park and Emerson Park. The streets have been graded and ditched. The lots are fifty by one hundred and twenty-five feet; with 10 foot alley in rear. Prices of lots $25.00 to $200.00. Albert W.
