Ware County Georgia Military Revolutionary War File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Barbara Winge barbarawinge@yahoo.com http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm Georgia Table of Contents: MEN WHO DREW LAND IN WARE COUNTY FOR REVOLUTIONARY WAR SERVICE Walker, Laura Singleton, HISTORY OF WARE COUNTY GEORGIA, 1934, p. 192; Revolutionary Soldiers of Ware: She took her list from the book CHEROKEE LAND LOTTERY. Therefore it can be assumed that these soldiers only drew land in Ware County but may have never lived there. If they are not listed in the DAR Patiot Index, then no descendant has joined the DAR on their service record. This would be a form of proof if they do have an interested direct descendant... Or perhaps someone joined prior to 1985 and no true documentation was presented. To re-establish his service they would have to submit a long form for membership. If anyone is concerned with these Revolutionary Soldiers, contact your local library for the local DAR chapter representative. William Cason (home County Greene) [I find a William Cason b. 4-10-1749 NC, d. 1-1-1847, GA m.
