THE WAYCROSS JOURNAL Tuesday, June 9, 1903 Unique Advertisement Mr. Parker Will Give Away A Box of Money Mr. Calvin Parker is running a unique advertisement in the way of a box of money which he keeps in a show case in front of his store. The plan is to give each cash purchaser of one dollar's worth of goods a key. One thousand kets are given away and three keys of this number will unlock the box which has $20 in silver in it. When all the keys are gone, the first one who unlocks the box is to get $10, the next one $6, and the last $4. The plan is attracting considerable notice and Mr. Parker is pleased with his venture.
