Atkinson County Citizen - December 21, 2006
 Mr. Thomas Edward "Buddy" Cribb, Sr., age 75, of Waycross, GA passed away on 
Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Satilla Regional Medical Center in 
Waycross, GA after an extended illness.
 Mr. Cribb, a native of Ware County, GA was born October 23, 1931, son of the 
late Benjamin Manasseh and Allie Mae Thomas Cribb. He was a retired sanitation 
worker for the City of Pearson, GA. Sisters, Bobbie Jean Delk, Betty Lou 
Bennett, brother, Frank Cribb and grandson, Terry Joe Ramer preceded him in 
death.
 Survivors include his wife, Gladys Lavenia Robinson Cribb, Waycross, GA; 
daughter, Zoie (Dorman) Register, Pearson, GA; sons, Thomas Edward "Eddie" 
Cribb, Jr., Pearson, GA, Anthony Cribb (Tammy) of Pearson, GA, Joseph (Connie) 
Cribb of Douglas, GA and Gregg (Lucy) Cribb of Waycross, GA; sister Lois 
Switzer-Robinson of Odum, GA. Seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, 
nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held 11 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Sims 
Funeral Home Chapel in Douglas, GA with Rev. Leonard Pittman officiating. Tammy 
and Charles Wood sang, "I Can't Even Walk Without You Holding My Hand," "Wish 
You Were Here" and "Daddy's Hands," also a taped selection of "When I Get Where 
I'm Going" was provided by family.
 Burial followed in the Sweetwater Cemetery in Atkinson County, GA. 
 Active pallbearers were Ealie Batten, Charles Brown, Sammy Graves, Bo Fender, 
Larry Johnson, Randy Browning.
 Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
