Funeral Saturday for Julia Dankel

Funeral services for Julia Dankel, 92, who died late last night after a 
prolonged illness, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Miles Odum Funeral 
Home Chapel in Waycross. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. at 
Palmetto Cemetery here.

She was a member of the Central Baptist Church and daughter of the late 
Thaddeus Koscivko Mroczkowski. 

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Dankel of Dankel, three sons, 
Thad G. Dankel of Brunswick, Nathaniel S. Dankel of Lake City, Fla., John A. 
Dankel of Waycross, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one 
nephew.

Miles-Odum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


Additional Comments:
Julia was the daughter of Thaddeus K. Mroczkowski & Mary F. McAllister. She 
was born on 30 Dec 1886 in Brunswick, Ga. On 16 Sep 1907, she married John 
Dankel in Glynn County, Ga. The couple were married 52 years before John 
passed away on 4 Jul 1960. They are buried at Palmetto Cemetery in Brunswick.
