Death of a "Happy Methodist"

Waycross, Ga., June 17-
Thomas Hersey died one day this week at Bickley, in this county, at the 
advanced age of ninety-six years and seven and a half months.  Mr.Hersey 
accidentally fell a few weeks ago, and his feeble condition was unable to 
withstand the shock.  He was a happy Methodist, and his last hours were very 
peaceful.  For a number of years prior to his death, he was crippled with 
rheumatism.
