JOYNER Mrs. Alene (Davis) Joyner, 82, died last night at Riverside Nursing Home after a long illness. She was a native of Brantley County and the wife of the late "Tollie" Thomas Joyner, and the daughter of the late Colquitt Davis and Telitha (Herrin) Davis. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church and had lived in Waycross for the past 55 years. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. J.T. Beverly, Waycross, and Mrs. B. C. Prox of North Charleston, South Carolina ; three sons , E. T. "Dick" Joyner and J. F. Joyner, both of Waycross and Jack R. Joyner of North Charleston, South Carolina; 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the Mincey-Fulford Chapel with burial at Kettle Creek Cemetery.
