Born March 3, 1949 to Ethel Davis Royal and the late Clayton Royals, she was a forme former employee of Baptist Village for more than 20 years. She was a member of the W the World Harvest Church of God in Waycross. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Marvin Care Carey "Buddy" Morgan of Blackshear; two daughters, Tracey Patton of Waycross and and Sherry Rice of Kingsland; sister, Betty Jo Summerlin of Nashville; brother, Layt Layton Royals of Waycross; one grandchild. Funeral services were held Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Music Funeral Hom Home with the Revs. Fred Morgan, Clayton Davis, Johnny Taylor and Shelton Smith off officiating. Musical selections included "She's at Home Now" by "Called Out" and and "Leaving on My Mind" and "I'm Higher Than I've Ever Been Before" by Rev. She Shelton Smith. Interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery in Waycross. Pallbearers were Bobby Taylor, Seab Lastinger, Van Vickers, Larry Morgan, J Johnny Turner, Ricky Bailey. Music Funeral Home of Waycross was in charge of arrangements.
