Mr. Miller served in the U.S. Navy during the Bay of Pigs and the Vietnam War and received several distinguished medals. He was retired from the Navy after 20 years of service. He was a member and past president of the board of directors for the Atlantic Coast Federal Credit Union. He is a member and usher of Central Baptist Church. He is a volunteer for meals on wheels and a member of Toast Masters. He also joined the United States Air Force in 1947. He is the son of the late James C. Bunch, Jr. and Mamie Prescott Bunch. He is the husband of Lissie Jacobs Bunch. He is preceded in death by his brother, Roger Bunch. He was born in Brantley County to Awtry P. and Effie Mae Kimbrell Minchew, both now deceased. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was employed for a number of years with Mulberry Motor Parts in Mulberry, Fla. He had made his home in Madison, Ga., since 1993. He is survived by a daughter and soninlaw, Marsha and Dan Minnich, and three grandchildren, Catherine, Leslie and Anna Minnick, all of Madison; a brother, Wayne Minchew of Waycross; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the MilesOdum Funeral Home chapel, followed by burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
