Marines and serving in the Pacific Theater during world war two. He was a retired iron worker in the heavy construction business for many years. He returned to Waycross eight years ago and operated the Billy Jacks Welding Shop for several years. He is survived by two sons Robert Sasser and his wife Betty of Jacksonville, Fla., and John W.
