                         OSCAR McKINNON 
     Oscar R. McKinnon, 42, died early Sunday morning in Talmadge
Memorial Hospital in Augusta following an extensive illness.
     Survivors besides his father include one daughter, Miss Pat
McKinnon, Waycross; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Lee, and Mrs. Annette
Nelson, both of Waycross; amd Mrs. Vernice Merritt, Munson, Mass.;
three brothers, W. J. McKinnon, Hilliard, Fla., and Virgil McKinnon,
Munson, Mass., and a number of other relatives.
   Graveside service will be held Wednesday afternoon in Kettle Creek
Cemetery.
   His body will be carried to the home of his siter, Mrs. Dorothy
Lee, 308 Howe St., tomorrow and will remain until the hour of the
funeral.
   Miles-Odom Funeral Home is in charge.
