ALEANE JUSTICE: Mrs. Aleane Justice, 76, mother of Ware County Commissioner William Dudley Justice, died early this morning in Riverside Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Justice was a native of Brantley County, but had lived most of her life in Ware County. She was the daughter of the late George Mathew Strickland and Ira Bell Clark Strickland. Mrs. Justice was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and was an honorary member of the Waycross Fishing Club. She is survived by her husband, Riley Justice, Waycross; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret McArthur, Mrs. Hazel Peacock and Mrs. Blanch Peacock, all of Waycross; four sons, Dudley Justice and Donel Justice, both of Waycross, Doyle Justice, Hickox, and Daniel Justice, Pelham; a stepmother, Mrs. Effie Strickland, White Springs, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Hall, Waycross, and Mrs. Cora Lee Cox, Hickox. In addition, 24 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren survive. Funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Miles-Odum Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday and Tuesday nights from 7-9 p.m. The family will be making headquarters at the home of Dudley Justice on Tomberlin Road in front of Souhtwood School. Thursday, February 6, 1986: MRS. ALEANE JUSTICE: Funeral for Mrs. Aleane Justice, 76, was held Wednesday morning in the Miles-Odum Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Loren Bryant and the Rev. Harry Carter officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Hall, J.D. Morgan, Ervin Driggers, Ken Justice, Wendell Justice and Jimmy Hall.
