Worten and Rainey W. Worten, brothers, who died from injuries sustained in an automobile wreck near here Friday night. Charlie Worten died almost instantly, and the brother died Saturday afternoon at a local hospital. They were returning to Waycross from Glynn county when their car, reported to have been driven by a nephew, collided with a truck near Hoboken. They were members of a family that had been engaged in the horse and mule business here for a number of years. Charlie Worten is survived by one son, F. W. Worten, of Waycross, and Rainey Worten is survived by one daughter, Mrs. F. W. Worten, of Waycross, and two sons, R. W. Worten, Jr., and C. W. Worten, both of Waycross. The services were conducted by the Rev. Lee Sweat. Pallbearers for Charlie Worten were Al Herrin, Jack Swain, H. K. Roberts, W. A. Long, J. C. Moi and Ottis Parr. Pallbearers for R. W. Worten were L. M. Tomlinson, L. L. Lee, J. A. Bargeron, J. C. Stone, T. L. Lee and Albert Sweat. W. L. Hinson and Company was in charge of arrangements.
