     Mrs. Rachel Mock Davis, 90, died Saturday afternoon (February 15, 2003) at
Baptist Village following a lengthy illness.
     She was a native of Pierce County, but had lived in Ware County most of her
life.  She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.  She was the daughter of the
late Wilson Jospeh Mock and Mindie Peacock Mock. She was preceded in death by a
son, Joseph Wayman Davis.
     Mrs. Davis is survived by three daughters, Janie Leggett of Brunswick,
Shirley Boyd (husband Winton) of Waycross, and Wanda Bagley (husband Billy) of
the Bickley Community; a brother, J.W. Mock of Waycross; and a daughter-in-law,
Violet Davis of High Springs, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.
     A funeral service is planned for 11:00 a.m. Monday  (February 17, 2003) at
Music Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Ben James Cemetery.  The
family received friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Sunday night at the funeral home.
     The Staff of Baptist Village is asked to serve as honorary pallbearers and
to gather at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
