A native and lifelong resident of the Manor area in Ware County, she was the widow of William Edgar Booth and daughter of Henry Sanford Guthrie and Cora Carmichael Guthrie. She was retired as manager of the Manor School lunchroom, having worked there from 1948 until 1974. She had been a member of Victory Methodist Church (formerly Booth) since 1934 and was a charter member and first president of the Booth Women's Missionary Society. She served as WMS condolence chairman for the church, and was a member of the Adult Sunday School. She is survived by a brother, Lewis Duncan Guthrie, Sr., a niece, Jerri Guthrie Collins (husband Glynn), and a nephew, Lewis Duncan Guthrie Jr., all of Jesup; a great niece, Julie Ann Roberson, Jesup; two great nephews, Lee Sanford Collins of Thomson and Kipp Harris Collins of Statesboro; two great-great- nephews, Brandon Lee Collins of Thomson and Hunter Jeffrey Roberson of Jesup; and several other relatives. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Victory Methodist Church, Manor, with burial at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation at Miles-Odum Funeral Home is tonight from 7 until 9 o'clock. July 23, 1997 Juanita Guthrie Booth The funeral for Mrs. Juanita Guthrie Booth, 85, took place Tuesday afternoon (July 22, 1997) at Victory Methodist Church with the Rev. Dewayne Tanner and the Rev. W. D. Corbitt officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. The pallbearers were James Turner, Harold McQuaig, Pate Lowery, Julius Daniel, H. D. Henderson and Ed Petty.
