He was a prominent farmer in the Manor section and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. He is survived by one son, Lewis Duncan Guthrie, Brunswick; two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Booth, Manor, and Mrs. Ora Mae Wiley, Goldfield, Nevada and a sister-in-law , Mrs. Sue D. Henderson, Stuart, Fla. Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending the arrival of relatives. Hinson Funeral Parlors is in charge of arrangements. Harris, Johnny Minchew, R. R. Lynes, Tom Hulett, Roger O’Neal, and Lester Boyett. Ministers officiating included Revs. A. M. Boyett, J. A. O’Neal and M. T. Harris. Survivors included a son, L. D. Guthrie, Brunswick; two daughters, Mrs. W. E. Booth, Manor; Mrs. Harry Wiley, Goldfield, Nev., a sister-in-law, Mrs. Sue D. Henderson, Stuart, Fla., and three grandchildren.
