He was 69. He was a native of Macon but made his home in Waycross for most of his life. He served in the US Army during World War II and had practiced law in Waycross since 1955, starting his practice here with Joe Schreiber. He was a graduate of the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. His professional affiliations included the Waycross and Georgia bar associations. He was a member of Central Baptist Church but had been attending Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a past president of the Okefenokee Golf Club and a past exalted ruler of the Waycross Elks Club. Mr. Rozier was also a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, the Waycross Lions Club, the Waycross Shrine Club, Hasan Temple, and Macon Masonic Lodge 5. His mother was the late Helen Davidson Elliott and his stepfather was the late Elmer Elliott. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Norton Rozier, Blackshear; three sons, Charles Edwin Rozier Jr., Atlanta, and Victor Franklin Rozier and Robert Scott Rozier, both of Macon; four grandchildren, Treasure Diane Rozier, Josh Franklin Rozier, Jonathan Robert Rozier, and Jamie Scott Rozier; three stepdaughters, Constance Prioleau Paul of Beaufort, SC, Jan Jeanevain of Chalmetta, La., and Cheryl Williams of Blackshear; and a stepson, Arthur Prioleau Paul III of Beaufort. A memorial service will be held at 11AM Tuesday at Trinty Methodist Church. The family will receive friends tonight at Music Funeral Home from 7 until 9 o'clock.
