L. SPEAR DIES; RITES ARE TODAY Cecil Lee Spear, 90, died yesterday at Memorail Hosptial after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Moore County, N. C., and was the son ot the late Samuel Burke Spear and Cornelia Floyd Spear. Mr. Spear owned and operated Spear's Drug Store from 1913 to 1959 when he retired. He was a charter member of the Waycross Kiwanis Club, the Okefenokee Golf Club and the Waycross Shrine Club. He was an honorary member of the First Methodist Church Administrative Board since 1916. He was a member of the Arthur Moore Sunday School Class and a member of the First Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eddie Mae Barrett Spear, Waycross; one daughter Mrs. Edward Lormand, Atlanta. Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p. m. today at the First Methodist Church with burial at Oakland Cemetery. Mincy-Fulford Funeral Home was in charge.
