Walker Passes Away Died of Heart Failure - He Was A Gentleman of The Old South Dr. T. J. Walker died yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock at his home on Reed Street. Dr. Walker was a native of Morgan County... He sufferd with asthma many years and this induced heart trouble which was the immediate cause of his death. The deceased leaves five children, as follows: Misses Rosa and Stella Walker, Messes S. W., W. L., and Percy Walker. Dr. Walker was a truly cultured gentleman, and his manners were those of the old school of the South. He was of the type now rapidly passing out and which will not come again. In heart he was a noble Christian and out of this grew his manners which were of a Chesterfield. He was a prolific reader and was as well versed in literature as the best of the times. He delighted in conversation and his language was chante and classical. Since coming to Waycross he has lived closely at home and very few people had the pleasure of his acquaintance, but he had a few friends who sought his company and he was ever ready to entertain.
