Ware Co. GA - OBIT: Marvin Winge, 1955 Submitted by Barbara Walker Winge Marvin Winge Waycross Journal-Herald, Monday, February 28, 1955 Final Rites Held For Marvin Winge E. Marvin Winge, 61, well-known Waycrossan, died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital after a long illness. Born in Toombs county, Mr. Winge moved to Waycross from Bacon county 25 years ago and was engaged in the automobile business. Two years ago he retired from active business because of ill health. Mr. Winge was a member of the First Baptist Church, a Mason, and a past member of the Waycross Exchange Club. Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Lola Mae McClean of Douglas; three sons, Revenal Winge and Jimmy E. Winge, both of Waycross, and Bobby T. Winge, stationed in Valdosta with the Air Force Police squadron; five sisters, Mrs. L. J. Edenfield, Savannah, Mrs. L. B. Edenfield, Lake City, Fla., Mrs. Gertrude Strickland, Reidsville, Mrs. T. W. Odom, Vidalia, and Mrs. Charles Spell, Lyons; two brothers, T. T. Winge, Hazelhurst and Lester Winge, Vidalia, and six grand- children. Funeral services were held this morning at 11 o'clock at the First Baptist Church.
