J. L. WILDES Mr. J. L. Wildes, who resides about three miles west of Waycross, has made a small fortune the last few years dealing in beef cattle. Mr. Wildes has developed a model farm from land which he purchased eight or ten years ago, and in connection with his tock business produces some of the best crops of any farmer in the county. He purchases his beef cattle from all parts of South Georgia and Northern Florida, and has a large pasturage at his home place, from which he supplies the markets of Waycross and surrounding towns with the choicest meats. During the past winter Mr. Wildes killed for his own use of the finest hogs ever grown in this section, the hog weighing over 800 pounds.
