She was born in Kingsland, Camden Co.,GA, but resided in Ware County the majority of her life.. She was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter_Day Saints all of her life, being actively involved in various organizations in the church. She was a member of the Waycross II Ward Relief Society Organization. Following her retirement in 1995 with Okefenokee RESA, she and her husband served a full_time mission in Forsyth, Montana for one year and also served at the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Montana. After Montana, they served another mission for two years at the Atlanta Georgia Temple until the time of her illness. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Clinton Clark and Martha Elizabeth Musick. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie Clark Henderson and Alice Clark Kilvington, and a brother James Clinton Clark. She is survived by her husband of 25 years: William Osborne Wildes, Sr.; Daughter: Wanda Dewberry Bennett of Waycross, GA; 2 Sons: Joseph Glen Dewberry of Pomona, CA, and James Alton Dewberry of Hilliard, FL; Grandson: Cole Lawton Bennett of Waycross, GA; and Special Family Friend: Danny Morris Cox. She is also survived by her Step_Children: Leah Wildes Sistar of Waycross, W. O. (Chip) Wildes, Jr. of Valdosta, GA, Maxie W. Wildes of Savannah, GA, Sharon Wildes Musgrove of Lilburn, GA, and Jared W. (J.J.) Wildes of Donaldsville, GA, and their children and grandchildren. Also surviving her are her 2 Sisters: Ruth Clark Halstead of St.Marys, GA, and Era Mae Clark Brown of Waycross, GA; 2 Brothers: John Lee Clark of Marianna, FL, and Clyde Clinton Clark of Boulogne, FL, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Thursday (3_2_2000) at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter_Day Saints in Waycross on Central Ave. Burial will follow at Kettle Creek Cemetery. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Satilla and the American Cancer Society.
