WILEY WOODARD
     Wiley Woodard, 70, widely known farmer of this section, member of
one of the best known families of Southeast Georgia, died at his home
six miles east of Waycross, in the Pleasant Valley community of Brantley
county, last night (12-28-1932).

     He was born in Pierce county, and has spent his entire life in the
immediate Waycross section.

     Besides his widow he is survived by one son, Frank Woodard of
Brantley county, and one daughter, Mrs. Lonnie Cason of Brantley county,
also two brothers, Millage Woodard of Waycross and Feller Woodard of
Hoboken, and two sisters, Mrs. John Williams and Mrs. Walter Sapp of
Brantley county.

     Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at Thomas
Cemetery, near Colgan's Still, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Smith of the
Advent Church.

     R. C. Ulmer and Company was in charge of arrangements.
