Copy of hand written license--"To any ordained minister, judge, or justice of 
the peace. You are hereby authorized to join in the state of Holy Matrimony, 
Mr. William H. Spikes and Miss Sarah E. O'Berry according to the laws and 
constitution of said state and for so doing, this shall be your sufficent 
license. Given under my hand and official signature this 8th day of Dec, 1877. 
signed--J.J. Wilkinson       Married at Pine Bloom on the 8th day of Dec. 1877 
by Rev. Thomas Bradhom, Minister of the Gospel, Mr. William H. Spikes and Miss
