Parker, 31 Stephenson Steet, will be an interesting event of the week. BOYD - WALKER A pretty wedding of the week took place Wednesday evening at 8:30 o'clock when Miss Jessie Mae Boyd and Mr. Samuel West Walker were married at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin W. Parker, 31 Stephenson Street, Rev. J. A. Harmon officiating. The house was profusely decorated with ferns, palms, cut flowers and trailing vines. The bride's only attendants were her two little nieces, Misses Christine Bibb and Grace LaRue, gowned in dainty white mull. To the strains of the wedding march from Mendelssohn, the little maids entered first, coming down the hall, through the dinning room into the pallor, followed by the bride and groom who stood just in the arch. During the ceremony Mrs. John Lewis Haltzendolf accompanied by Miss Mamie Bland on the violin, played very softly, "Hearts and Flowers." The bride as she stood in her wedding gown of grey crepe de chine over gray taffate, never looked any fairer than on this occassion. She carried bride's roses and ferns. After the ceremony an informal reception was held and refreshments served. The table in the dinning room had as a center piece a tall cut glass vase filled with exquisite roses, and surrounding this were quantities of handsome white japonicas. In the hall Misses Alice Boyd and Sara Salisbury presided over the bowl of delicious fruit punch. The bride who is a sister of Mrs. Parker is quite a pretty young woman with a wide circle of friends. Mr. Walker is a young man of excellent business ability. He holds a responsible position with the Lott-Fain Furniture Co. For the present, Mr. and Mrs. Walker will make their home with Mr. and Mrs. Parker. =============== (SEAL OF GEORGIA) State of Georgia, Ware County.
