Jesse E. Butler, Ware County Ordinary of said County: The petition of James R. and Henry Douglass, citizens of said county and next of kin of Burrell Douglass, late of said county, deceased. Show that said deceased departed this life in the 8th day of September 1884. And as they believe, intestate, leaving property, real and personal lying in said county of the probable value of fourteen hundred dollars and that said estate showed be administered upon for the purpose of collecting and paying the depts due to and owing by, the said estate and for the purpose of making distribution thereof among the heirs of said deseased. Wherefore, your petitioners pray an order, directing citation to issue and be published in terms of the law, and that, if no goods could be shown to the contrary, your petitioners be appointed the permanent administrators of the estate of the said deceased. Sept. 10th 1884 James R. Douglass Henry Douglass by L. A. Wilson Atty. Read and considered, and it is hereby ordered that citation issued and be published as required by law, this 10th day of Sept. 1884. Jesse E. Butler Ordinary Ware Co. Douglas and Henry Douglass has in due form applied to the undersigned for permanent letters of administration on the estate of Burrell Douglass, late of said county, deceased and I will pass upon said application on the first Monday in Nov. 1884. Jesse E. Butler Ordinary W. C. State of Georgia Ware County To Jesse E. Butler, Ordinary of said County, The petition of J. R. Douglass and Henry Douglass, Administrators of the estate of Burrell Douglass deceased late of said county, showed that after paying all the debts of said deceased, there is now in the hands and under the control of your petitioners as said administrators, besides the lands belonging to said estate about seventy head of stock cattle more or less and that a division of said cattle your petitioners alledge is not only practicable but necessary in order that they may be properly cared for and the interest of several distributors. Your Petitioners further show that the heirs and distibutors of said estate are nine in number to wit: Nancy Douglass, J. R. Douglass, Henry Douglass, Seaborn Douglass, Nancy Eunice, Mary Ann Barber, Jane Godwin and Burrell Douglass and Mary Douglass, child of Wm Douglass deceased, the latter two being minors and as yet without guardians. Wherefore your petitioners pray the granting of an order for a division of said cattle and the appointment of three or more farm holders of said county for the purpose of appraising and of dividing said property.
