A notation states that the Bible was purchased from P. N. Maddox on March 29, 1847. William Johnson and wife Lucy Rosannah from South Hampton County, Virginia 1793, came bringing their children. Among them was Lewis, b. 10-16-1783, married Delilah Smith 3-15-1817.
