1.  JAMES1 BROOKS  b. GA He married FALBY COBB Bef. 1792.  She was born Abt. 1775 in Georgia.

 

Notes for FALBY COBB:

Falby COBB has been listed elsewhere ???  (from Joiner) as Falby STORY.  It is possible that she was married to a STORY before marrying James BROOKS or it's possible that she was born as Falby STOREY.  Later Census records of Jacob Rutledge Brooks  indicate both parents born in GA.

2.                i.       JOSIAH B.2 BROOKS, b. Bef. 1792, Georgia; d. Bef. December 16, 1858, probably Pike County, Alabama.

3.               ii.       JOSEPH COBB BROOKS, b. August 27, 1792, Warren County, Georgia; d. January 14, 1852, Pike County, Alabama.

4.              iii.       DAVID BROOKS, b. Abt. 1793, North Carolina. (I don’t think he fits as a sibling.  NC birth between GA births????)

                 iv.       FALBY BROOKS, b. Abt. 1800; m. ARTHUR DAVIS, December 03, 1821, Walton County, Georgia.

                  v.       WINIFRED BROOKS, b. Abt. 1800, Warren County, Georgia; d. October 22, 1811, Warren County, Georgia.

5.              vi.       CSA JOEL N. BROOKS, b. Abt. 1803, Georgia.

6.             vii     Jacob Rutledge BROOKS  , b. December 06, 1806, Walton County, Georgia; d. March 20, 1900, Perote, Bullock County, Alabama.

7.            viii.       CSA SEABORN R. BROOKS, b. Abt. December 1811, Warren County, Georgia; d. May 1864, the Battle at Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee.

8.               ix.       JAMES A. BROOKS, b. Abt. 1818, Georgia; d. August 30, 1855, Monticello, Pike County, Alabama.
