The church was founded in 1845, cemetery was started after Civil War, 9 CSA veterans are buried there. A family reunion has been held on the church property yearly since 1938. There are app. 15 unmarked graves on the site..... Directions: Take Norwood exit ( US 278) off of I-20, app. 80 miles east of Atlanta. Proceed south app. 5 miles. Turn right onto Prospect Church Rd, go app. 1 mile to church & cemetery on left.
