Georgia, Wilkes County
These to whom these presents may come to certify, that for the love and 
respect which I bear to and for my son in law or son Michael Buckhalter also 
for the consideration of ten shillings sterling herewith to me in hand paid 
for by the said Michael Buckhalter before the signing and delivery of this 
deed of gift we Samuel Wilson and Ann Wilson now wife of the said Samuel 
Wilson formerly Ann Buckhalter Daughter of Solomon Newsome Senior deceased 
we have given and granted, and this deed of gift for the consideration above 
mentioned doth give and confirm unto the said Michael Buckhalter all our 
right and claim and property to a certain parcel of Negroes of the number of 
four and their increase (viz) one wench named Agg, a girl named Hanor, a boy 
named Tom, one ditto Squash, which the said Solomon Newsom, gave to his son 
David Newsom, with ah condition, if the said David died without heir then to 
be divided between Solomon Newsom the younger, and her the said Ann, now 
Wilson by deed of gift dated 1770 as is recorded in Edgefield County in 
South Carolina and now we assign all our right and title of the said Negroes 
or our part thereof to the said Michael and to his heirs and assigns 
forever. As witness our hands and seals this 4th day of July 1792.
