Witnesseth that Anderson Berry for and in Consideration of the sum of Two hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Gilson Berry at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt hereof he doth hereby acknowledge, the said Anderson Berry do bargain, Sell and Confirm and by these presents doth give, grant, bargain, sell, and confirm unto the said Gilson Berry his Heirs and assigns Forever all that tract or parcel of Land Containing within the several lines, limits and Corner, Begining at a black Oak Corner on Gilson Berry’s line, thence with the said Line N. 80 W. twenty one chains to a pine Corner, thence on the said Berry’s line, S. twenty Degrees West thirty Five chains and a half to a Hicory corner, thence on McMurrins line N. forty Degrees East twenty chains to a Hicory corner, thence on the said McMurrins line N. thirty Degrees W twelve chains to a Stake on Pryor Gardners line thence with said Gardners line Due East 42 chains to a Hicory corner, thence S 30 degrees W along the Road 32 chains to the Beginning being part of a 215 Acre Tract Surveyd and Granted to Saml Camp the 9th of February 1790 and Lying on the Waters of Long Creek in the County aforesaid, Together with all and Singular the premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Anderson Berry. Containing Sixty acres more or less and also all the right, titles, Interest, claim and demand of him the said Anderson Berry and his Heirs and assigns Forever. To the said Jilson Berry to have and to hold forever the said tract or parcel of land and all and Singular the premises aforesaid with them and Every Rights, members and appurtenances unto the Said Gilson Berry his Heirs and assigns Forever. To have and to hold and occupy, possess and Enjoy to his own property and behoof of him the said Jilson Berry in fee Simple to the Said Tract free and clear from all duties, Gifts, dowers, Judgements and from other person or persons Whatsoever, the said Anderson Berry Doth warrant and defend unto said Gilson Berry his Heirs and assigns Forever. In witness whereof the said Anderson Berry hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and date first above Written.
