Witnesseth that the said William Berry for and in Consideration of the Sum of one hundred pounds in hand paid by the said Jilson Berry at and before the Sealing and delivering of these presents, the receipt whereof the said William Berry doth hereby Fully acknowledge. Hath given, granted, Bargained and Sold by Virtue of these presents doth give and Grant, Bargain and Sell, unto the said Jilson Berry his Heirs and assigns Forever a certain Tract or parcel of Land being & lying in the County aforesaid and on the Waters of Long Creek being a tract of one hundred acres granted to William Berry Senr. in part of his Head Right in the year one thousand seven hundred and Eighty five, beginging at a hicory on the East Side of the said Creek and running No 70 E 31 chs 62 links to a pine then So 20 E 31 Ch 62 links to a hicery, then So 70 W 31 ch 62 links to a Stake on the West side of the Creek then with a Straight line to the begining To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all and every appurtenance thereunto belonging unto said Jilson Berry his Heirs or assigns forever. Together with all the Buildings and Improvements. Whatsoever thereunto belonging unto him the said Jilson Berry his Heirs and assigns Forever from him the said William Berry. Moreover the said William Berry by Virture of these presents will Warrant, and Defend the said land unto the said Jilson Berry his Heirs and assigns Forever. Hereunto he the said William Berry hath Set his hand and seal the date above written. Signed Sealed and Delivered in presence of us. Frans.
