All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Michael Knight mknight17@hotmail.com March 23, 2006, 4:48 pm Written: 1798 ROBERT FLOURNAY – ROBERT WYNNE This indenture made the ninth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight, between Robert Flournay of the County of Jefferson and State of Georgia of the one part: and Robert Wynne of Warren County and state aforesaid of the other part, witnesseth that the said Robert Flournay for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, but more especially for and in consideration for a deed of conveyance, sometime in the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety seven. Given by said Flournay to said Wynne for the promises hereafter to be described and said to be last hath granted, sold, and quit claim, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell and confirm unto the said Robert Wynne, his heirs and assigns all that tract of land, containing two hundred acres (more or less) lying and being in the County of Warren, on the Ogechee River, bound southwestwardly by John Wynne’s land, northwestwardly by lands surveyed for Jesse Conorelly, and on all other sides by lands granted to Abraham Reddix. Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any appertaining. To have and hold, the said tract of land, with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining unto the said Robert Wynne his heirs and assigns for ever, and the said Robert Flournay for himself, his heirs, etc. doth covenant and agree to and with the said Robert Wynne his heirs, etc. to warrant and forever defend the aforesaid tract of land against the said Robert Flournay his heirs, etc. but against no other person whatsoever.
