Witnesseth, That the Said William Hoge, for and in consideration of One hundred pounds Sterling money of Said State, to him in hand paid by the sd. William Berry, the Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and that he the Said William Hoge hath bargained Sol (d), conveyed and confirmed, unto the Said William Berry, a certain Tract or parcel of Land containing One Hundred acres (be the Same more or less) Situate lying and being in the County of Warren (formerly Richmond) bounded Northeastwardly by Williams’ Creek and by Slatter’s & Biggot’s Land, and Northwestwardly by Dobbins’ Land, West by Thompson’s Land, and on all other Sides by Vacant Land, which tract of Land was Originally granted to the said William Hoge the 8th of February 1786, Together with all and Singular the Woods, Waters, Water Courses, Improvements, Rents, Issues, Emoluments, Hereditaments, and Appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining, and also all the Estate, Right, Title and Interest which the Said William Hoge, now hath of or into the Same. To have and to hold, the Said Tract of One hundred and fifty acres of Land, and every part and parcel thereof unto the Said William Berry his Heirs Executors, Administrators or assigns, against him the Said William Hoge his heirs and assigns, and all & every other person or persons whatsoever Shall and will forever Warrant & defend, the Said bargained premises by these presents.
