VINSON JOHNSON-VINSON A JOHNSON

Georgia Warren County} 

This indenture made this fourth day of June Eighteen Hundred
and forty five between Vinson Johnson of the one part and
Vinson A Johnson of the other part both of the County and
State aforesaid. Witnesseth that the said Vinson Johnson
hath for the sum of Five Hundred Dollars to him in hand paid
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained
and sold and by these presents do bargain and sell unto the
said Vinson A Johnson all that tract or parcel of land known
by the name of the Doctor Lewis place containing three
Hundred and fifty acres be the same more or less bounded by
land of James Smith James T Dicken and land formerly
belonging to Henry Peebles and the said Vinson Johnson, to
have and to hold the said bargainned premises with all its
appertanances, to him the said Vinson A Johnson to him his
heirs and assigns forever in fee simple, and the said Vinson
Johnson my heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend
the right and title of the above bargained land and
premises, unto the said Vinson A Johnson his heirs Executors
administrators and assigns. In witness whereof I the said
Vinson Johnson hath hereunto set my hand and seal the day
and year first above written
