BOZE KITCHENS-JOSEPH KITCHENS

Georgia Warren County} 

This indenture made and entered into this twentyth day of
October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and forty seven between Boze Kitchens of the state and
county above mentioned of the one part and Joseph Kitchens
of the same state and County of the other part both of the
state aforesaid, witness that the said Boze Kitchens for and
in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars in hand
paid at and before the sealing & delivery of these presence
the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold & conveyed and do by these presence grant
bargain sell and convey unto the said Joseph Kitchens to him
his heirs & assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate
Lying and being in the County of Warren Containing One
Hundred and Sixty? Acres the same being more or less known
and distinguished as land granted to K McCormak Lyin on the
west side of Rocky Comfort being part of said ____ to have
and to hold said tract or parcel of land unto him the said
Joseph Kitchens his heirs and assigns together with all and
singular the rights _____ ______ rents profits and
appertinances thereof the line to commence at the mouth of
spring branch when said branch emtys into Rocky Comfort
thence up said branch to the head the line to continue
strait until it strikes the west line of said _____ above
mentioned to BK Jack Corner thence along the line of said
Land North west until it strikes a pine corner where said
Land of John Kitchins Land Corner thence with the Line to
Rocky Comfort Creek thence down said creek to the mouth of
___, spring branch and the said Boze Kitchens for himself
his heirs executors administrators and assigns, the said
bargained tract of land unto the said Joseph Kitchens his
heirs Executors administrators and assigns I _____ Boze
Kitchens will warrant and forever defend the rights and
title thereof against myself and against the right and
claims of all and any other person or persons who sow ever
may come claiming the same is witness whereof the said Boze
Kitchens hath here unto set his hand and afxid his seal the
day and year above written assigned sealed and delivered in
presence of

Georgia Warren County} Appeared before me Timothy Kitchens
and being duly sworn on oath that he saw Boze Kitchens sign
the above dead and he a became a subsribing witness and he
saw Nimrod S Chiles sign with ___ as a subscribing witness
sworn to before me this 19 of Oct 1848
