All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Beth Collins http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00011.html#0002523 March 6, 2026, 9:33 pm Written: May 14, 1811 Recorded: September 28, 1813 Deed Book D, p 329 Georgia} Warren County} This indenture made this fourteenth day of May One Thousand Eight hundred and Eleven between Richard Lovett of the County of Warren and State aforesaid of the one part and Lemuel Lovett of the County of Warren and State aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said Richard Lovett for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred & fifty dollars to him in hand paid by the said Lemuel Lovett, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, sold, & conveyed & confirmed and by these presents doth bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said Lemuel Lovett all that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the county of Warren & State aforesaid on Fort Creek, bounded as follows, To wit, Beginning at a Hickory X on the Creek running thence Lemuel Lovetts line N 60 W 15 ½ chains to a pine X. thence on said Lovetts line N 20 W 40 chs to a pine X. thence own Cader Harris's line due East 26 chains to a stake X. on the Creek, thence down the Creek 15 chains to a branch, thence up the branch about 12 chains to a white oak X. thence on S. Camps line S 10 E 31 ½ chains to a pine X. thence S 80 W 19 chains to the beginning, containing one hundred thirty acres, be the same more or less - it being part of 750 acres originally Granted to Samuel Camp the 22nd January 1789 & which hath been regularly transferred to the said Richard Lovett by John Rushing – To have and to hold the same bargained premises unto thee said Lemuel Lovett his heirs and assigns, and the said Richard Lovett it for himself and his heirs, against the lawful claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever ,the said tract of 130 acres of land, with all & singular the rights, members, and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining with the rents, issues thereof unto the said Lemuel Lovett, his heirs and assigns forever, and I the said Richard Lovett, do hereby warrant and defend in fee simple by these presents.
